Since May 2000 I spend most of my time at Studio Sem in Pietrasanta in North Tuscany sculpturing in marble. I am member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, the Swedish Sculptor Association, and the Norwegian Sculptor Association. As an artist I learned to redirect my focus towards the intuitive and began listening to and interpreting the abstract language of my dreams and my body. The dynamics of the relationship between the two forms you often will find in my sculptures speak about the breaking away in a new direction while still anchored to the strong roots of my core self. COMMISSIONS The Swedish State Art Fund, 2011 for the project 7 artists in Cava Querciola, Carrara OSLO INNOVATION AWARD, 2008-2011, commissioned by the City of Oslo. October 2011 the award was given to Eirik Naess-Ulseth. ELEMENTS, 2008, was commissioned for Christopher Newport University, Virginia, USA by Newport News Public Art Foundation (the creation process). REFLECTIONS, 2008, was commissioned by Christian Rignes, OSLO.
